Your responsibilities

We’re searching for an Engineer - 3D FEA to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. In this role, you will be working closely with Analysis tools, Design, Mechanical Development, New Technology and other supporting functions of the product development and provide analysis-led guidance to our Jenbacher and Waukesha high performance industrial reciprocating gas engines businesses.

• Work in a global engineering team on Finite Element method development for core engine components for use across INNIO Jenbacher products

• Deep dive into Thermo-Mechanical modeling and Structural Dynamics of core engine components (Cylinder Head, Conrod, Crankcase, Piston, etc.) and work closely with our technical experts

• Develop Pre and Post-Processing methods and automations for reducing the cycle-time of Finite Element Simulation model preparation and assessment using Python to drive Speed, Efficiency and Quality across our methods

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and broaden your technical knowledge while deepening your understanding of industrial gas engines business

Our requirements

  • In possession of, or working towards, a Master ofScience/Engineering in Mechanical engineering.
  • A genuine passion for mechanical engineering, structural analysis, reciprocating gas engines or other energy systems
  • Experience in CAE/FEA simulation, optimization using ANSYS or Abaqus
  • Experience with Python and Programming for Automation
  • Experience with Data Visualization methods like Plotly/Dash
  • Interest/Experience with Generative Design & Tools
  • Interest/Experience with Additive Manufacturing beneficial
  • Interest/Experience with Hydrogen beneficial
  • Self-driven, curious and analytical thinking
  • Solid communication skills in English
