I recently created an interactive Covid-19 Hot Spots Dash App that provides both state-level and county-level heat maps of new infections per capita in the US.

It is hosted on Google Cloud Platform at https://covid19dashboard.app/. Source code at GitHub - icanhazcodeplz/covid-data

Hopefully, it provides some useful data for you. Let me know what you think! Bug reports and feature requests are especially helpful :).

Not sure how I missed this, but this is nice! Just the kind of drilldown I’m always looking for with these Covid apps. Thanks for sharing this!
