🚀 Plotly Studio is now generally available!

Hey everybody - I’m so excited to announce that Plotly Studio and Plotly Cloud are now generally available! Huge, huge thank you to everyone that participated in our early access program over the last few months and gave us great bug reports, feedback, and inspiration. Please keep the feedback coming!

If you haven’t downloaded Plotly Studio yet, give it a try here:

I’m tremendously excited and proud of the product and where we’re going with it. I’ve been using it exclusively to create all of my charts and Dash apps over the last few months and am still blown away by what it can create for me in the matter of minutes.

We have lots of exciting updates planned for the product over the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned in the forum and our email list.

Wow! Just wow!

I exported some video ad tracking data from my (test) backend, and within a couple of minutes, had a comprehensive dashboard with lots of interesting graphs. And all without giving a single instruction!

I’m truly impressed, and can’t wait to see what comes next.

(One request: I’d love to be able to define a data source as a REST endpoint, rather than having to go through the rigmarole of exporting into CSV each time)

Plotly Studio is a brilliant product, @chriddyp. I’ve used it about ten times, typically by providing natural language instructions to describe what I want. I also enjoy using it with minimal or no instructions, just to see what Plotly Studio generates on its own. When you already have a working dashboard that doesn’t need replacing, Plotly Studio comes through inspirational ideas for enhancement and shows me things I did not know were possible.
