Hey everyone, we just released a new feature called Data Sources that changes how you get data into Plotly Studio.

Instead of waiting on engineering tickets or being stuck with a specific list of connectors, you can now connect to any data source by just describing it in the chat. If Python can reach it, whether it is Snowflake or an internal API, Plotly Studio will write the code to connect and transform it for you.
We also made sure your credentials stay safe by storing them locally so they never actually get exposed to the LLM. Essentially, it puts the control back in your hands so you can build dashboards faster.
Combined with Plotly Studio’s ability to generate Dash apps in minutes, I think Data Sources offers the possibility to explore any industry of interest – all you need is some data
