DashFlows: Control/remove specific port positions on nodes

Hi,

Hope you are keeping well?

I am loving the new DashFlows components for Dash apps! However, is there a way to control/remove the specific port positions where the source and target edges append to the nodes?

With the flow charts/networks I am making with this tool, the edges can sometimes appear tangled and unnecessarily overlap. If the source and target ports were not so fixed in place (e.g. just targetted the centre of the back of the node), then chart could look a lot more clean.

I see in the documentation that there is a layoutOptions option, but I have been trying different arguments but cannot get this to work. Would anyone have ideas about arguments/other options I could try?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Yeah, that would need to be fixed through the component. I’ve seen a github bug reported already asking to allow the connectors to be adjusted in there placement.

Just getting back into the swing of thing’s after an extended trip, but ill dust off this component and see if i can get that adjusted and released when i find some time.
