Foxconn Wisconsin is seeking for a Data Analyst to support our Business Intelligence and Digitization group. We are seeking individuals who enjoy the challenge of performing in a start-up environment and have a desire to revolutionize a whole new industry. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the manufacturing department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for the full stack of data analytics, from querying or procuring data, cleaning data, feature generation, problem formulation, error/success metric choice, machine learning/predictive model building, and translation of results into business action. This role will help Foxconn’s data strategy within manufacturing, and data-related business decision making.
Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as a cross functional consultant on data science, data analytics related efforts that span the Foxconn enterprise.
  • Identify appropriate analytical tools and methods; use advanced knowledge of business analysis to perform quantitative analyses and predictive modeling.
  • Be able to communicate and explain the results of more technical analyses to business partners in a digestible, visual fashion.
  • Lead strategy development for data and analytics products to ensure the program becomes pervasive throughout the organization.
  • Develop a high performing team focused on building strong analytical, data strategy, research and business skill sets while sustaining leading employee engagement and retention.
  • Be a stakeholder in developing and maturing the Data Science strategy.
  • Deliver solutions according to the delivery schedule.
  • Design and architect complete end-to-end DS solutions.
  • Continuous improvement on predictive and machine learning models.
  • Conform to industry standards for quality and effective data visualization and reporting.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Education Requirements and Ideal Experience Includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a data driven role with Manufacturing/Engineering environment a plus.
  • Experienced with Data Science/Statistics/ML practices and tools, such as R, Python.
  • Familiar with 3PL business and supply chain concepts
  • Experience with ETL design and data warehousing concepts
  • 1+ years with reporting / visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R-Shiny or Plotly-Dash
  • Experience with Oracle, MySQL and/or MS SQL Server and SQL query language required
  • Experience with common Statistical Process Control Analysis in Manufacture.
  • Knowledge of software tools necessary to manage projects.
  • Ability to manage aggressive timelines and adapt to change.
  • Critical thinking skills with strong business acumen and consideration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written for sharing ideas with other departments and the customer.
  • Advanced computer skills utilizing Office 365: Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Project, PowerPoint
