Basemap in a contour plot

Hey,

I have a 2 dimensional data set that defines the values of a parameter over a geographical area. I want a base map under the contour plot. I was able to do that using matplotlib but, the limited functionality of the tool is not really helping me.

How can I do the same using plot.ly?

P.S. I’ve attached the plot I got using matplotlib for reference.
