Announcing plotly.py 3.2.0

I’m happy to announce that plotly.py version 3.2.0 has been released. This version brings long anticipated support for exporting figures as high-quality static images (both raster and vector) while fully offline (no plot.ly account required).

See the announcement blog post and changelog for more information and give it a try!

Hello,

I am new to plotly, but graphs that were working two days ago don’t appear in my Jupyter Notebook anymore…
Simple graphs as shown in the doc doesn’t work either, I just get blank space.

Could it have anything with the change in version ?

edit : I’m using the pyplot.offline

@Bdubreu, Could you please paste here a link to an example in docs that doesn’t work with plotly 3.2.0?

Hi,

I just went there : https://plot.ly/python/bar-charts/

and took the first graph.

But it works now that I have done the upgrade. I just don’t understand why it didn’t work when I hadn’t, I thought the former version should still be able to work on my computer…
