Will data get truncated when plotting Large data?

I am trying to plot a live heatmap with large data (~500K points). I will receive data at an interval of 1 sec (192 points). So in 10 mins 115K points should get plotted(I am using extendTraces function to add new points). But looking at UI I feel like points are getting truncated. I browsed online but could not get conclusive answer. So does Plotly truncates data points, when there are more points? If so how to increase the truncate threshold or avoid truncating altogether ? Please help

That shouldn’t happen.

Can you share a reproducible example?

Sorry for the late reply. I was on a vacation.

Great to know Plotly doesn’t truncate data!!
I have created a fiddle : https://jsfiddle.net/s074k5qc/
After a while it looks like points are not shrinking anymore, which made me think it is truncating. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong or tell me why the points are not shrinking after a while

I don’t see any points being truncated in your example.

Can you help us out a little more?
