Hi, i wolud like to make a button om my app that shows my native ubuntu archive explorer to select a file from a directory, is that posible?

Now, if you are talking about something explicitly on the server’s files, then yes. You can do this via an accordion as you navigate down the folder structure.

if im not interested in building a tree, can i skip the build tree method?

If you don’t want a user to select the path, then you just give them a list of the file options.
