plotly.py supports static image export using either the kaleido package (recommended, supported as of plotly version 4.9) or the orca command line utility (legacy as of plotly version 4.9). Since both packages haven’t been updated in a long time. What are Plotly’s plans regarding this?

Hi @adamschroeder, do you have an updated timeline of when a new version of Kaleido will be released? The main concern is this does not seem to be actively maintained.
