I am creating a parallel coordinates plot, but require the ability to show an area rather than the individual lines. Parallel categories does not work for what I am doing as the categories would not be determined by the axis values, but by an additional column in the dataframe. So in the top plot of the example image the yellow and orange lines are one grouping and the blue, red, purple and green lines are a second grouping. Iād like to show the max and min values for each grouping (lower plot). Is there a way to do this?
