How to apply scaled translation to line chart

As explained in this SO post I would like to display several lines (scatter) with perspective.

My company is willing to subscribe to a support plan to get this done, but first we would like to know whether or not this feature is supported without too much hacking.

You can try using scatter3d traces instead. Similar to here https://plot.ly/python/3d-filled-line-plots/

Unfortunately, as I said on SO, I’ve already tried 3d, and it breaks other requirements we have ATM (like alignment of several subplots that are not on the same scale). So we’ll stick to the hacky custom perspective effects for now. Adding a more recent picture, for the record (4 subplots):
