Error: attempt to apply non-function when posting to Plotly

Want to report a bug when posing to plotly to get embeded code.

py <- plot_ly(username=“aaa”, key=“bbb”)
ggiris <- qplot(Petal.Width, Sepal.Length, data = iris, color = Species)

the last step throws the error:

Error: attempt to apply non-function
