Job Purpose/Role
We are looking for an Intern or Working Student as part of the Global Data and Analytics team of β–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆβ–ˆ.

Our team has the mandate to provide analytics solutions to multiple customers and functional areas on a global scale. In this role you will have the exciting opportunity to learn hands-on what it means to work as data analyst and developer to transform quantitative business requirements into executable code. Projects range from database queries over data wrangling to front-end development for our web application hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Start : from 01. October 2024 onward

Location : Munich ( in office )

Duration : minimum of 4 month for interns and 6 months for working students ( ideally long-term )

Working Hours : 40 hours/week as an intern, 20 hours/week as a working student ( with possibility to increase the working hours during semester breaks/lecture-free period )

Key Responsibilities

  • Software development in Python from database to front-end visualizations
  • Become a member of an agile developer team transforming user requirements into web-based analytics solutions
  • Understand and develop mathematical models to manage real estate investments
  • Support the team with reporting and data quality monitoring

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Enrolment in studies in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics or similar quantitative background during the whole length of the employment
  • Programming skills with practical experience in Python
  • Experiences with Git, Plotly Dash, HTML/CSS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, SQL databases, LaTeX are a plus
  • Motivated to learn key concepts of real estate
  • Collaborative team player
  • Fluent in English
