I was wondering if it was possible to set custom contour areas for a 3D surface plot. What I’m trying to achieve is to show ‘zones’ between different sets of values. Specifically, I want to create bounds where if the y-values are below lets say 0.8, I want that area to be coloured specifically in red, but if its above 0.8 I want that area to be coloured in green.
Hi @Riv, welcome to the forums. I’m not sure I understand what you are trying, but it sounds like if you were searching for a custom colorbar in combination with setting the surfacecolor=y`.
I’m aware that the linked topic explains this for python, other languages should be similar.
