Is there a reason to use one package(plotly-express vs cufflinks) over the other ? In my limited exposure, so far I have found cufflinks to be the easier one to use. However, I also want to make sure that cufflinks will be managed actively and upgraded. Currently, cufflinks is still using plotly 3.1. Any thoughts ?

Hello, plotly-express is now part of the plotly.py library so that the integration is complete (same package, same team, same docs…). On the other hand, it is on the roadmap of the plotly team to submit contributions to the cufflinks team so that it works with plotly 4.x.

Does this mean it is safe to develop code based on cufflinks and it will be developed and maintained going forward ?
