Zero line show wrong label after selecting a range

Hello plotly community!

We are currently determine if we should use plotly in our production and created a view testpages where we discovered following bug:

  • open graph (Zero line is labeled as 0.00)
  • select a range from slightly above 0 to a negative value
  • Zero line is labeled with -278a

Initial graph:

Selection:

Result:

As you can see instead of a “0.00” we receive a “-278a”.

At this point we are clueless and we haven’t looked into the plotly.js code at all. Is this behavior known? And is there a way to resolve this issue?

With best regards,
Sam

Hey @SamuelWeber welcome to the forums.

Could you share the code to create this graph?
