Y0 and y1 for circle with 'category' y-axis

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to add circle shapes to a horizontal bar-chart. My y-axis is of type = ‘category’ and consists of strings, so I can’t figure our how to set y0 and y1 limits to my circles.
Basically I want the circles to be of the same hight as the underlying bar.
Is there any way to do this in Plotly?

Would be very grateful for any help!

Instead of circle shapes, you might try just using a {'type': 'scatter': 'x': [...], 'y': [...], 'marker': {'size': [...]}} trace. Otherwise, I believe that you will need this functionality: https://github.com/plotly/plotly.js/pull/2532
