What chart type does Plotly Animation support?

Reading the tutorial of animation, it mentions that it currently supports Scatter and Bar chart only.

Does Plotly Animation [I work with go.Sankey charts] support Sankey Chart by chance? This looks really cool. Thanks in advance.
