Hello Dash Community,
Have you ever wanted to monetize your Dash applications, build a B2B-ready portfolio, or turn your coding skills into a business?
Those who frequent the Plotly forum or Youtube channel might already know of me, those who have no idea of who I am; my name is Austin, I am a Plotly Champion and active developer, and I’ve set out to design two resources to provide a clear pathway for developers to integrate payment processing into their applications.
Free Tutorial: Add Stripe Payments to Your Dash App
To get started, I’m releasing a free tutorial on integrating the Stripe payment system into your Dash architecture. This will teach you how to charge for recurring memberships or products directly from your application.
- Watch the ~2h video course above or get the full code & project files:
This course includes over 1,800 lines of commented code across 10 files, giving you a solid foundation for accepting payments in any Dash project.
Go Pro: A Full-Stack Restaurant SaaS Template
For those ready to land a B2B client immediately, I’ve designed a fully integrated, production-ready restaurant application. This is the boilerplate you need to approach restaurant owners with a custom, mobile-first online ordering system.
- See a live demo of the restaurant app: caffemistico.com
- Grab the template here:
What’s included?
- ~12,000 lines of well-documented code across 21 files and 10 pages.
- Mobile-First Design for a great user experience on any device.
- Full Order Management System to track orders from placement to fulfillment.
- Dynamic Menu & Hours so the owner can make changes on the fly.
- Custom Social Authentication for easy user logins.
- Admin Dashboard with analytics to track orders and trends.
- Receipt Printer Integration boilerplate.
This template is designed for easy Docker deployment to any server, so you can get your client up and running fast.
My Motivation
Growing up, I always wanted to be an inventor. Coding, and specifically the Dash framework, gave me the superpower to build something from nothing. I enjoy showing & teaching other developers how to do the same. It’s been a privilege to contribute back to a community that has taught me so much. I hope these resources help you on your own journey to build, create, and find success in software development.
A special thanks to all the other nerds in the Plotly Community who have inspired & taught me something along what has been an amazing career so far.
