Subplots --Annotations Getting Dropped for All but the First! :(

Appreciate your help/advice: When I have annotations on my plots & need to use subplots (to get, say, 3 horizontal plots), the annotations are only shown for the 1st plot. Any idea, how to retain the annotations for the other plots? (Or to re-add them?)

Or is there some way other than subplots to get the three plots horizontal?

(Currently using R for these.)

You might want to using the xref or/and yref annotations attributes to place your annotations on the desired subplots.
