Streaming data to a table?

I was wondering if it’s possible to stream data to a table, or at least have a table in a dashboard that will refresh automatically. .

I have a lot of graphs in a dashboard that capture time based data nicely, but I also want to capture state at these times. I want a dynamic table that will show me if certain services on my computer are running and I want them to be updated as soon as a service stops running.

The plotly charts I’ve looked at are Tables and Heat maps. I’m thinking of using one dimensional heat maps, where the y-axis is the service and the box is either green or red depending on whether the service is running or not. Strangely enough, I can’t seem to figure out how to make a 1-Dimensional heat map, minimum is 2+. Tables are easy enough, but they don’t seem to update automatically when new data enters and you redraw them. The only seem to update when you click refresh.

I’ve been googling and pouring through the documentation and code, but haven’t been able to find an answer. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!
