Status of dash TradingView Light Weight Charts

Hey Dash Plotly Community:

I think the https://www.dash-mantine-components.com/ and https://dash.plotly.com/dash-ag-grid are huge success and pushed Dash Plotly to the next level. ( I know there are other very exciting developments but just to highlight the above as those are the ones that are most relevant for my daily use).

Is it possible to bring more focus on Show and Tell: Dash - TradingView Light Weight Charts
Above project works great. As we can observe, the lightweight chart from GitHub - tradingview/lightweight-charts: Performant financial charts built with HTML5 canvas is a vivid and fast growing community, not to mention the tradingview itself is growing fast. ( Just to clarify, I share zero commercial interest with it ).

Right now, when using GitHub - tysonwu/dash-tradingview: Tradingview Lightweight Charts wrapper for Plotly Dash apps

  • I think we can add some sophisticated futures such as syncing two charts when setting crosshair position: Set crosshair position | Lightweight Charts,
  • Lightweight charts have powerful performance when charting large dataset or intraday live chart (and is better in terms of speed compared with some other charting libraries in Plotly). So I think this can be a a powerful component for plotly. However, looks to me it doesn’t support scatter plot, or any plots that the x-axis are not in time or time-stamp. Understand that this is how the lightweight charts working right now, but I think it would be very powerful if plotly dash can put some resources and upgrade this component.

Thanks.
