Is it possible to have a click event on the “scattergl” plot type?
Not at the moment, please subscribe to https://github.com/plotly/plotly.js/issues/743 for the latest development info and have a look at https://github.com/plotly/plotly.js/issues/130 for the full list of gl2d limitations.
Do you have any approximate idea when will this be available?
I really need to render more than 50k points in a plot and have some interactive options… and with the “scatter” type the plot is laggy…
