Scatter Plot Hover do not display the actual point data when the points are close

Hi I am using the Scatter plot and when I have multiple point so close .
I.e for example if there are multiple points on the same line . And when I mouse hover on the bottom one its shown the data of the top one or vise versa.

Actually I am mouse over on the bottom point and its showing the top point values since they all are on the same line.

This will be very hard to reproduce from a screenshot. Would you mind sharing the data/layout you used to create this graph to help us help you?

Hi Etienne,
I was reading few solutions you have suggested.
And you suggested to user the hovermode: ‘closest’.

And its working for me. Now its showing the closest point.
