Possibility to customize native legend's labels text

Hi,

I recently found somewhere on this forums information which states that only trace names are valid labels for native Plotly’s legend.
We would like to append some more info other than trace name, eg. unit of measure. We are currently building our own legend to display this information.
Are you planning to add such a possibility in near future to native Plotly’s legend?

Yes, we’re planning on making legend items more customizable.
