Object as input + output --> "error loading dependencies"

Dear all,

I am trying to have a slider both be an input and an output:

Basically, on my Dashboard, I have one big graph. But I also want one button that “optimises” all inputs. Hence, when this is pressed, all sliders, dropdowns, and more need to update instantly…

However, when I implement the above code I get this error: “Error loading dependencies” and the Dashboard won’t even open anymore…

Any suggestions?

Thanks for reporting! These types of “circular dependencies” aren’t supported in Dash right now.

How would you try to work around this type of issue then?
Is there no way to “reset sliders” based on input from somewhere else?

This could work if you change the the second input to a state.
