Marker size in scatter plot relative to graph coordinates?

I was wondering: Is it possible in plot.ly to have a scatter plot where the marker size is relative to the graph coordinates?

For example, say I have two data points at (0,0) and (0,1), to say that the marker size should be 0.5 in graph coordinates, so that the two markers at these two points would always touch?

I could only find on how to give marker sizes in absolute sizes (pts, I guess). If you then zoom, the size of the marker stays the same on the screen (and thus changes with respect to graph coordinates). I would like to have a plot where the marker size stays the same relative to the coordinate system, and hence changes on the screen when one zooms.

Is this possible?

Best,

Michael

There is no built-in way of achieving this at the moment unfortunately.
