How to Make a Calendar Profile Chart in Plotly?

I have searched for this a lot and I only find calendar heatmaps. What I would like to produce using Plotly is something like the following:

The importance of this is that it helps discern patterns in daily profiles and the day of week. Good examples include: energy load profiles, occupancy, weather data, etc

Is this plot of many plots doable in plotly? Is there a gist out there from someone who has done this before?

PLOTLY, are Calendar Profile Charts on the roadmap anytime soon?
