How to capture dash app usage statistics?

Hi,

I have already created a dash app and hosted it using heroku. Now, I am intrested in capturing the site visit statistics for e.g

  • how many users used the app or visited the app page on daily basis.
  • or number of users currently using the app.

Can someone please point me to the correct documentation for that ?

@chriddyp can you please help us here. I am also looking into this. We want to be able to track how many unique and total visitors we have on a daily basis for our dashboards. Any sources or links would be helpful. Thanks!

Have a look at instructions how to setup google analytics. I would guess the principle would be similar with other tracking tools.
