How to add annoataions on scatter3d chart

Hi Guys
I have created a scatter3d chart (lines + markers) and it works great. however, when I try to use the annotations on the scatter3d chart, it won’t display on the correct position. I reused the format of line chart annotations and add z value into it and the result is not I expected.

Any idea how to add annotations on 3d chart markers?

Data-reference annotations (i.e. linked to x / y coordinates) aren’t supported in 3D plots at the moment unfortunately.

The best you can do is to a type: 'scatter3d' + mode: 'text' trace to 3D plot.
