How do I use a custom TTF file in my Jupyter Notebook (Python) with Plotly Express?

Iā€™m using Plotly Express and wish to use a custom font in my plots. The goal is to package the fonts along with the project so as to make it self-contained. Could you please let me know how I can tell Plotly to use a font, e.g. fonts/computer-modern.ttf?
