How can i add text on the plot or in the plot area?

I want to add the custom text on the plot(anywhere), is there any way to do that?

Thanks for quick reply.I have attached the image highlighted text in red- i want a name like that( it is independent no points are available) and right side i want to achieve a line with arrow shows clockwise direction. Is there any way to do that?
