Hoversubplots invalid (not found) in VS Code ipynb Plotly go.Scattergl

Copied code from Plotly hover text and formatting, on a Jupyter notebook running in VS Code ā€“ I get the following error for using ā€œhoversubplotsā€:

ValueError: Invalid property specified for object of type plotly.graph_objs.Layout: ā€˜hoversubplotsā€™

I have plotly version 5.20.0. Please kindly advise on the way forward on this matter.

As stated in the page you liked to, this parameter was added in version 5.21

Try updating and check again.
