Hover event control in offline python/pandas

Hi there,

I did read quite a few documentation (including https://plot.ly/pandas/hover-events/) on hover events and cannot say for sure whether there is a Python API available for creating special effects when a hover event occurs. I see it is possible in the JS, but I do not know JS and would love to continue using only Python (in offline mode, btw).

Wow it’s been a while… Honestly, I can’t remember… Sorry for that. I haven’t been paying with plotly for a while now.
