So many great examples to learn from so far!

When I saw that this week’s dataset was football-related I got curious about the possibility of using club crests for markers. Thankfully, @RenaudLN showed it could be easily done in this example Link

The graph shows the correlation between a team’s goal difference and the total number of points gained at the end of the season. While the 2 variables will always be strongly positively correlated, it might be useful to explore how much this varies from season to season.

One useful feature of goal difference in Football is that it’s used as a tie-breaker when 2 teams end the season with the same point tally. Football fans would know that this is quite an uncommon occurrence. To my pleasant surprise, it turns out that this is exactly how last season’s winner was decided when Chelsea won the league on goal difference after ending the season with the same number of points as Manchester City :slightly_smiling_face:
