Dash Running inside the company LAN environment

Dear all,

I am building web applications by Dash inside the company LAN environment, and have trouble.
When access the URL where dash running by “run_server”, page is opened but just “Loading…” is displayed, and dash contents do not make progress.
(Ususal web network like my personal PC setup, dash contents correctly appeared)

My OS is Windows11 and, I opened ports as setting firewall setting (sending & receiveing), but problems are not solved.
Is there remedy you come up such a situation? (e.g. proxy setting, etc)

P.S.
A log file shows the below as correct cases,

XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX - - [25/Feb/2025 07:19:44] “GET / HTTP/1.1” 200 -
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX - - [25/Feb/2025 07:19:45] “GET /_dash-dependencies HTTP/1.1” 200 -
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX - - [25/Feb/2025 07:19:45] “GET /_dash-layout HTTP/1.1” 200 -
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX - - [25/Feb/2025 07:32:07] “GET / HTTP/1.1” 200 -
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX - - [25/Feb/2025 07:32:07] “GET /_dash-layout HTTP/1.1” 200 -
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX - - [25/Feb/2025 07:32:07] “GET /_dash-dependencies HTTP/1.1” 200 -

As a problematic case, just one sentence is logged.

Sincerely

Hey @Mit welcome to the forums.

How is your setup? Please add some more information, otherwise it?ll be difficult to help you.

Thank you for your comment.

As my setup as to software, simply plotly and dash is installed via pip command (the latest).
OS is Windows 11.
As the same OS & software setup, I succeeded to run simple dash apps on my personal PC with public internet connection.
Problem happened inside my company’s LAN setup.

I suppose that many people use dash web apps under similar environment (company’s LAN), so that expect there are some countermeasure method people should carry on.

Sincerely

Hello @Mit,

Sounds like there could be an issue with your company’s firewall.

You’ll need to look at the network tabs when access your site from the non-local ip address.

hi @Mit I just DM’d you to get some clarity.

I also need help. My app was working correctly for several weeks(everyone in my work’s network could use it). All of a sudden they can’t.

Were you able to detect any error?

No, I didn’t change anything. The IT department is trying to find if there is anything that could be blocking the app. The weird thing is that it was working fine until this morning

Thank you, everyone.

Fortunately, I could solve my problems by changing browser to view Dash web apps is changed from Edge to Chrome, though I do not grasp clear reason, but I solved.

I appreciate your kind comments.

Sincerely
