Our client, a leader in the biomedical and surgical device industry, is seeing a Clinical Programming Analyst to join their team in Irvine, CA! (remote opportunity, Onsite as needed)

This is a 12+ months contract-to-hire opportunity

In this role you will support the Clinical Programming Analyst, this will include an early-stage product development group, Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT)! TMTT is passionate about developing solutions for patients suffering from structural heart disease. As an Analyst, Clinical Programming, you will be responsible for helping our team to provide analytical tools to our cross functional partners, in the form of reports and dashboards This is an excellent opportunity to enter the medical device field with an industry leader!

Daily Responsibilities

  • Partnering with cross functional teams, gathering requirements and feedback on new reports and dashboards, as well as updates
  • Development of clinical data reports and dashboards, primarily utilizing a Python and its associated data analysis libraries (pandas, plotly, dash)
  • Assisting with development and hosting of our internal web application (Dash/Flask based)
  • Assisting in Data Pipeline development, from pulling data with APIs to data manipulation and storage
  • Writing and performing validation scripts
  • Creating and maintaining documentation at all stages of development and testing

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in in computer science or any programming related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of Python programming experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of Reporting/Data Analysis experience
  • Web Application hosting experience
  • Data Pipeline experience
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases, systems, and programming languages
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
