Create a "spatial map/nodalizaton"

Hello, I have searched throughout the plotly documentation, but I have not found anything useful. I would be glad to know if it is possible to create a sort of spatial map/nodalization in plotly as in the picture below, and then fill each white rectangle with data coming from a pandas dataframe.

I’m not sure if I understand the question. Are you searching for a way to “colorize” the rectangles?

Does the base layout change or is the distribution of rectangles always the same?
