Copy data in selection from box select, lasso select, or tooltip hover to clipboard

Is there a way to copy the data from a box select or lasso select or tooltip hover to the clipboard? I haven’t found an argument to do this. I am using the ggplotly function to generate a plotly graph from a ggplot2 object.

Anyone addressed this question yet? I’d like to copy the tooltip to clipboard. (I’m using plotly version 4.10.3 in R version 4.3.1 (2023-06-16) inside RStudio 2023.06.1 Build 524.)
