Animated Chloropleth Mapbox map

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a feature that allows for animated chloropleth mapbox maps. I was looking into the general animated feature set, but I’m unsure how to translate the multiple data points into the json file required by the chloropleth mapbox figure.

Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: I tried translating this article to a chloropleth map, to not much avail.

Edit: Ha! I mispelled ‘choropleth’, change the ‘type’ to the correct spelling and this method works!

From your last Edit it’s not quite clear whether you solved the problem only with settting the right type or not.
If the answer is negative please be more precise on what you don’t know to set/define to get your animation working.

The code works as long as the misspelling is corrected.
