I know that there is a way for the user to add shapes using the modebar. I was wondering if there was a way to add texts or annotations to an already created graph without coding a new annotation manually? For reference i’m making sequence diagrams with plotly and Jupyter notebook and I’d love the option fir users to also draw their own sequence diagrams.

If you’re using Dash image annotations, you can draw rectangles, circles, and lines on a graph. Is that helpful?
