I work on a scientific project called Marine Optical Buoy it MOBY for short. It is an NOAA/NASA-funded project that is used to vicariously calibrate ocean color satellites. I process the daily data sets and all the experimental data we collect. I also create all the web pages. My primary language is Matlab. But I have just started learning javascript. Loving the plotly.js graphs!!!
