Hi folks,
i have a use case where i want to write some data back to the database. I want to know if it is possible to provide some input from frontend and store it back to database.

Hi @Upendra_Dwivedi,

sure thing! If you are not familiar with Dash’s callback system, you should check that first [Part 2. Basic Callbacks | Dash for Python Documentation | Plotly](https://dash.plotly.com/basic-callbacks). This is how you send data from the front-end to the backend.

When you constructed the callback with the data you need, you can utilize [`SQLAlchemy`](https://docs.sqlalchemy.org/en/20/) for example to connect to your database and execute queries and updates.

Hope this helps and feel free to ask further questions.
