# Updatemenus button won't remain clicked

I’m trying to use updatemenus buttons to change the y axis lable on my plotly scatter plot. I attached a picture of my code below. Everytime I click a button, while it shows the changed axis label for about 2 seconds, it changes back to the initial state. How can I fix this?
