My suggested solution for all types of data using special filters for each type, it also sets the limits of each filter based on the data of the selected column:
This is an attempt at creating visual filters for columns of DataTables.
The way it works is simple:
Select a column
Based on the pandas dtype of the column display the appropriate filter
Based on the values of the selected column, set the limits of the filter
Display the filtered table

This is an issue actually, and I’d appreciate any suggestions.
The imported table is stored in dcc.Store, which means you are limited by your browser’s memory (and the 10MB limit). Sometimes it gets really slow.
