Hi All,

Could we have a horizontal bar chart in Plotly express or graph objects with a vertical scrollbar that keeps the x-axis visible for a given height of the chart? Currently the scrollbar option streches the graph to eternity in the vertical direction if we are to keep the height of the bar constant for large size of datasets.

Any help or insight would be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi @Bijoy,

we had a similar topic a while ago, as far as I know there is no way to achieve this with a built in method. Maybe there is a way, but I think it would get quite hacky.

> Hi, I have a horizontal bar chart that contains around 100 bars. With these many bars, the bars appear very thin. Is it possible to display a max of 10 bars and have a scroll bar to view the others. Like this - [Scrollbars for any axis – Highcharts](https://www.highcharts.com/blog/news/224-scrollbars-for-any-axis/)

EDIT: I just have seen, that you posted in the linked topic- so you know about this workaround.
