# Scatterpolar missing color bar

I’m trying to use a color bar with some random data but it looks like it is disabled on the scatterpolar type

That got fixed in [https://github.com/plotly/plotly.js/pull/2681](https://github.com/plotly/plotly.js/pull/2681) which will be released in 1.39.0
