Px.icicle not animated as in example

I am using the exact same code as in Icicle charts in Python, but my icicle is not animated, and it doesn’t change the text dynamically?

I am on the latest plotly version, what could be the reason?

I now tested it outside jupyter and it works!

What would be the reason for it not working in Jupyter?

Hey @maxschulz-COL not sure if related, but at some point plotly and jupyter >v3.9 were not really compatible.

Not sure if this is still the case, tough.

That is true, @AIMPED . I don’t believe they are compatible.

We see the same thing in Vizro btw, which we still need to investigate…

I am also curious to know why that is, @maxschulz-COL . I remember our CTO tried to experiment and work with jupyter4 but encountered many issues.
